It seems hard to get any information on the Canadian offical broadcasting channels of the world cup about any riots, maybe it’s just not Polysporin Pre-Game and Coca-Cola at the Half material. The Toronto Star reported on the clashes ahead of the opening game and there are reports to be found online like Brazil Fights for Rights: Know why protesters hit streets in the country on Midia Ninja.
This is my world cup wish list and prediction that I wasn’t bold enough to post earlier, I’d better do it before it’s too late 😉 What is your wish list or prediction?
1) Germany playing exciting counter-attacking football again,
2) Spain not scoring from open play,
3) Brazil openly siding with their compatriots in the streets,
4) A surprise world cup winning team.
